It’s been a while.
In our fast-paced, digital world, there’s a palpable yearning for a return to simplicity and authenticity, a longing for the genuine connections and genuine experiences that seem increasingly elusive in the midst of constant connectivity.
Despite the ups and the downs, the challenges and the triumphs, life has mostly been kind- as kind as can be for a migrant who is in constant denial, to make peace with the fact that Home isn’t just a place anymore- its a feeling, a sense of belonging and a blanket of security that is almost impossible to slip out of. I may have achieved what is described as success in a material world but there was something missing.
I took my time to recharge, reconnect and recover.. soaking up some sunshine with a a deep-rooted understanding that the “Old” ways—the unhurried conversations over a cup of coffee, the handwritten letters exchanged between friends, the quiet moments of reflection, taking time to breathe easy in solitude —are not just nostalgic relics of the past, but essential pillars of our humanity. Now that I am on the other side, I assure you, it feels so good!
On that note, it brings me immense joy and pride to share with you a momentous milestone in my journey- a project that took 6 arduous months of late nights, countless hours of brainstorming sessions and weeks that turned into months of staying away from family. The project slowly but surely began to evolve into something truly remarkable, fuelled by passion, dedication, and a shared vision for making a difference in people’s lives. Most important of all, it is brick-and-mortar!

I am thrilled to announce the launch of Bloom+, a healthcare haven in Dubai, born out of a deep-rooted need to do something for the “Greater good”. In partnership with my long-term friends, Dr Arvind Chowdhary and Mr Dushyant Mehra, we are embarking on a mission to provide a sanctuary, a beacon of compassion and care. Our heart-felt establishment represents more than just a physical space; it’s a symbol of our collective commitment to holistic wellness and community care. We believe in the power of healing not just through medicine, but through heartfelt interactions, meaningful conversations, and unwavering support. I am profoundly grateful to my dear friends for joining me on this incredible journey, bringing their expertise, passion, and unwavering support to the table.
Finally, after six long months of tireless dedication and perseverance, the dream has come true! As we stand back to admire this brick and mortar sanctuary, there is a sense of pride and satisfaction that transcends words. There were moments of doubt and uncertainty, when setbacks threatened to derail our progress. Yet, fuelled by the unwavering commitment and belief in our collective abilities, the team pressed on, finding solutions to overcome obstacles and forge ahead. We have not only created something of value, but have also built bonds that will last a lifetime.
